Details: Since 1938, Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) has provided decent, safe and affordable housing for the low-income citizens of Lorain County. Federally subsidized through the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Housing Authority's Public Housing Program and the Section 8 Program provide housing subsidy in a variety of apartments giving low income individuals the opportunity to live in dignity while paying an affordable rent.
