Details: The Housing Authority of the Town of Boonton (the “Authority”), is located at 125 Chestnut Street, Boonton, NJ 07005-1167. We have one mixed family high-rise (60 units); and one low-rise complex (14 units), for a total of 74 units. The Authority was created through a resolution of the Town of Boonton and organized as a public housing authority as defined by State Statute (N.J.S.A. 4A: 12A-1, et seq., the “Housing Authority Act”). The Authority functions under the over site of the U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs – Division of Local Government Services (DCA).
